Marian University Leighton School of Nursing NCLEX Pass Rate
After graduating from our Accelerated BSN program in Nashville, Tennessee, you must take and pass the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) to earn your registered nurse license, which is required to join the health care workforce.
Our ABSN program in Nashville teaches with the NCLEX exam in mind. In fact, our students complete the Kaplan® NCLEX Test Prep for an extra boost of confidence on exam day. In the past four years alone, our Leighton School of Nursing BSN NCLEX pass rates for first-time test takers are consistently equal to or above the national average.

About the NCLEX-RN Exam
Administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc., the NCLEX-RN exam helps to ensure every nursing school graduate has what it takes to provide safe, effective nursing care at the entry level.
Completed a designated test center via computer, the NCLEX-RN exam can include up to 265 questions, with most of them in a multiple-choice format. With a time limit of six hours, the test covers the following topic areas:
- Physiological Integrity
- Safe and Effective Care Environment
- Psychosocial Integrity
- Health Promotion and Maintenance
