“Restaurant” doesn’t usually come to mind when you think of Whole Foods and Earth Fare. Both health food stores have ready-to-order meals, and you’ll find a variety of vegan and gluten-free options. There are plenty of lunch and dinner options at McAlister’s Deli. Located throughout Indianapolis and the surrounding suburbs, the restaurant offers everything from soups to quick desserts. Noodles & Company
With locations throughout Indianapolis, Noodles & Company offers a selection of noodles, salads, soups and sandwiches. A favorite among Marian University nursing students, the restaurant is right down the road from our ABSN site. While not all options are healthy, the restaurant offers a helpful nutrition guide on their website and displays the calorie counts of their choices in most locations. You can order your meal ahead of time online if you want to simply swing by to pick it up.
Jason’s Deli is a popular lunch spot with several Indianapolis locations. Jason’s Deli is a great place to grab a bite with other students on your break or pick up your lunch to go. SoHo Café & Gallery
SoHo Café is known for their coffee and dedication to brewing. But, they also have breakfast, lunch and dinner options, making it perfect for the nursing student with a packed schedule from morning to night.
