Marian University welcomed another incoming class of nursing students on January 14, 2013. Due to the accelerated nature of the Accelerated Bachelor of Science nursing program, these students will graduate in just 16 months and be prepared to sit the for NCLEX -RN to become licensed registered nurses.
For most of these students, the second-degree program is an opportunity for them to make a career change. This class of students brings varying career backgrounds, including exercise science professionals, several teachers and business people, and even a lawyer.
