The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Marian University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791. CCNE is a national agency that contributes to the improvement of public health by ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs.

Board of Nursing Approval

Our Leighton School of Nursing meets the approval of the Indiana State Board of Nursing (IBSN), located at 402 W. Washington Street, Room W072, Indianapolis, IN 46204. IBSN is responsible for ensuring nursing programs in Indiana demonstrate continuous success in preparing students for their pre-licensure exams.

Our ABSN program in Tennessee meets the approval of the Tennessee Board of Nursing, located at 665 Mainstream Drive, 2nd Floor, Nashville, TN 37243. As a local government entity, the board is responsible for safeguarding the health, safety, and welfare of Tennesseans. The board proposes the minimum curriculum for every nursing program in Tennessee, approving those that meet its standards.
