Experience the Spirit of Caring

Our partnerships with St. Vincent and Saint Thomas Health are one of several reasons students choose our online-based Accelerated BSN program. As an ABSN student, you can expect to gain unprecedented patient care experiences while working with some of the best teams in the health care industry.

You can expect to complete over 700 hours of clinical practice, with your rotations starting during the first semester of the ABSN program. Under the guidance of experienced RNs, you will work with patients in a variety of specialty areas such as:

  • Emergency nursing: works with patients of all ages and conditions.
  • Medical-surgical nursing: cares for adults in various settings.
  • Mental health: focuses on emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
  • Obstetrics: focuses on pregnant women up to child birth.
  • Pediatrics: cares for children from birth to early adulthood

These clinical rotations also make great networking opportunities, allowing you to develop relationships with key clinical faculty at one of the best health care employers in Indiana and Tennessee. Furthermore, your hours of clinical practice get you highly accustomed to each network’s procedures and charting systems, increasing your chances of becoming a future employee.
