Marian University's accelerated nursing program in Indianapolis welcomed another incoming class of nursing students on May 13, 2013. Due to the accelerated nature of the program, these students will graduate in just 16 months and be prepared to sit the for NCLEX-RN to become licensed registered nurses.
For most of these students, the second-degree program is an opportunity for them to make a career change. This class of students brings varying backgrounds including a mom of seven, a handful of new graduates, prior teachers, exercise science majors, and even five students who relocated from California, Michigan and Texas just for this program.
