This week is National Nurses Week! According to the American Nurses Association, there are 3.1 million registered nurses to celebrate in the United States. At Marian University’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program in Indianapolis, we are especially proud of the accomplishments of our graduates and excited to think about what our current and future students will achieve when they enter the workforce.

Here are just a few reasons to celebrate the hardworking graduates of Marian University:

Graduation

In December 2010, we graduated our first cohort of two hard-working students. Since that time, our classes have consistently grown. As of December 2012, 138 nursing students have graduated from our program.

NCLEX Success

Marian University's online ABSN students have a first-time pass rate of 97% on the NCLEX. That number is much higher than the average and tells us that our students work hard and enter the nursing world prepared to meet high standards of care.

Job Placement

We are happy to report that 100% of students who graduated by August 2012 and sought employment found jobs. Ninety-five percent of those students work in Indiana hospitals, with 64% of them employed by the St.Vincent Health network.
