The application deadline for the spring session of the accelerated nursing program in Indianapolis is November 1. If you're planning to apply, don't wait until the last minute to submit your application. You don't want to be rushed when embarking on such an important journey. Have you taken these steps?
Meet with an admissions advisor. Even if you've been in touch with an admissions advisor in the past, it's important to talk to them before you submit your application. They will make sure all of your prerequisites are complete and answer any questions you have about the application process.
Order your official transcripts. This step can take time. We require transcripts from all colleges or universities you've attended. They need to be mailed directly to Marian University's Office of Admissions. Don't hesitate to check with the Office of Admissions to make sure all transcripts have arrived.
Arrange for financing. This is something you don't want to put off. If you haven't looked into financial aid or arranged for other financing, now is the time to do it. Your advisor can point you in the right direction if you're unsure where to start. More information on financial aid can be found here.
Ask any lingering questions. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Your admissions advisor is a great resource but also network with nurses and current nursing students to find out more about nursing school and what to expect in the application process.
Apply and relax. Once your application is submitted, take some time to reward yourself on the step you've taken towards a bright future. The sooner your application is complete, the sooner the relaxation can begin!
